Schwein gehabt! Culture Festival: Program
One of the great highlights of the long culture night is the exhibition of the ten winners’ work of the light art competition. This has been organized by the club ausgeschlachtet and will turn the site into an unusual light at nightfall, creating a unique atmosphere.
On the culture festival you can experience live music in many places. In addition to local bands from Karlsruhe like the ensembles of the percussionist Pedro Weiss, the worldmusic formation Chupchick or Anything Goes, these are also international stars like the British songwriter Roo Panes, who has millions of fans on Youtube with his melancholic folk songs, Chanson-Punks Les Yeux d’la Tête or Marko Haavisto & Poutahaukat, finnish favorite chapel of Aki Kaurismäkis. Also, Amnesty International is present, which has invited prominent Poetry Slammer to dance around human rights letters.
